Techentin - Death called another of Saginaw's old residents when Mrs. Mary Techentin, nee Suhr, died at her home in Burt at 4:30 pm Friday of a complication of diseases. She was a resident of Saginaw for over 50 years, but 15 years ago removed to Burt from here with her husband, who, survives her. She was born in Germany 70 years ago and came to this country when very young, with her parents, coming directly to Saginaw. She was united in marriage to Charles Techentin August 14, 50 years ago, and last August celebrated her golden wedding with her husband at the home in Burt. She had for some time past been a sufferer from disease. Beside her husband she is survived by five daughters, Mrs. John Wolf, Mrs. William Beuthin, Mrs. Laurence Schwitzer, Mrs. C.E. McIntyre of Saginaw, and Mrs. J.G. Maher of Detroit, one brother, Fred Suhr of Burt. She was a charter member of Allemania hive. No. 11. L.O.T.M.M. and was an active worker in the Lutheran church all her life. The body will be brought to Saginaw, to the home of her daughter Mrs. C. E. McIntyre, 707 Johnson Street.
The funeral will be held from the residence of Mr and Mrs C.E. McIntyre at 3:30 o'clock Tuesday. Internment in Brady Hill Cemetery.
