Cecil Fowler, 79 of Graceville passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, May 13, 2011 at the Chapel of James & Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Beulah Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Mr. Cecil was born February 2, 1932 in Graceville to the late William "Pete" and Elizabeth Fowler. He was a mechanic and worked on all kinds of motors. Mr. Cecil enjoyed planting vegetables and sharing with all his family and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, grandson Scott, six brothers Harvey, Clayton, Jay, Huey, Homer, Arthur, three sisters Ruby Ward, Vicie Hatcher, Gladys Sloan.
Survived by his beloved wife Ruth Fowler, three daughters Shirley Richardson (Frank), Bonifay, Sharon Storie, Ocoee, FL, Cindy Ward(Stancil), Slocomb, AL; two brothers Allie Fowler, Lee Fowler(Wynell) all of Graceville; one sister Daisy Forester of Lakeland, FL; five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
