The death of Mrs. Charlotte A. Harvey, wife of Michael H. Harvey occurred at 5:30 Saturday evening, April 25, she being 68 years, 4 months and 15 days old.
For many years Mrs. Harvey has been a patient suffered, bearing up under the affliction uncomplainingly and courageously, ever showing her unfaltering faith in God, whom she served faithfully she being converted at fourteen years of age, uniting with the church and ever since that time has lived as becometh a Christian. She was, as far as health would permit, always faithful to the Church of her choice and by her conversation, encouraged her pastor in his efforts.
In home life she was ever devoted, every member of the large family knew in her was a tried and true friend and her absence will be keenly felt by all. She leaves a family consisting of husband and nine children one having preceded her in death.
The funeral services were held in the Methodist Protestant Church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. C. R. Green, using as text Hosea,13:14; 2 Tim., 1 :9-10. The esteem in which she was held was attested by the large gathering of sympathizing friends.
