Henry Edison Blake, son of Nelson and Anna (Shoup) Blake, was born July 10, 1905 at Haddam, Kan., where he spent most of his entire life and received his education, died at the Washington county hospital at the age of 60 years, ten monJune49, 1966ths and 16 days.
He was married to Frena Cales in 1928, who preceded him in death in 1954. To this union was born four sons, William L., Sidney, Neb.; Donel G. Scottsbluff, Neb.; Jim, Gering, Neb.; and Rodney D., Burr Oak.
Most of his life was spent working for the railroad. He was a member of the IOOF Lodge.
Surviving are his four sons and wives, 13 grandchildren, two sisters, Wilma Burr, Arkansas City and Gladys Kurn, Greeley, Colo.; brothers-in-law; an aunt along with other relatives and numerous friends.
Interment was in the Haddam cemetery on May 29, 1966
