COLUMBIANA - Erin A. Williamson, 63 of Stonehaven Drive, died Monday, May 9, 2011 at 6:14 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman, Ohio surrounded by her family following a lengthy 21 year battle with cancer.

Born December 28, 1947 in East Liverpool, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late William Edward and Mary McCormack.

A lifetime area resident, at one time she worked for the Ohio Bell Telephone Company, the Potters Adjustment Bureau, the Potters Medical Center, and for the Wal-Mart Vision Center.

A member of St. Aloysius Catholic church in East Liverpool for most of her life, she later became a member of the St. Jude Catholic church when she moved to Columbiana.

She was a graduate of St. Aloysius Grade School and a graduate of East Liverpool High School, class of 1966.

She volunteered and supported both the March of Dimes and the American Cancer Society. She enjoyed to shop and decorate, but mostly, she loved spending time with her two grandsons.

She is survived at home by her devoted and caring husband, James M. Williamson, whom she married April 12, 1969.

She is also survived by their daughter, Julianne Mueller and her husband, Scott A. of Columbus, Ohio; and their son, James J. Williamson and his wife, Nicole (Hall) of Washington, D.C.

She leaves behind two adoring grandsons, Prestin Richard Williamson and Brady James Mueller; and one loving sister, Bibiana "Bibi" Peduzzi and her husband, Reynold "Rey" of Trafford, Pennsylvania.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Edward McCormack.

Friends may visit the family from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Dawson Funeral Home.

Fr. Peter Haladej of St. Aloysius Catholic church will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church.

Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Immediately following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center.
