OBITUARY
Charleston Daily Mail, Charleston, West Virginia, Tuesday, 14 Dec 1948

Morris, Mrs. Martha, 70, formerly of Mammoth died Sunday en route to a Cincinnati Ohio hospital. The body arrived in Charleston Tuesday morning and was taken to Fidler and Frame funeral home at Belle. Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Mammoth Union Church with Rev. U. G. Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in Ward cemetery.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Maggie Backus and Mrs. Mary Hurley both of Mammoth, and Mrs. Myrtle Keesey of Cedar Grove, a son, Marlin Morris of Cincinnati, with whom she was living at the time of her death, 13 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
