Alfred Ringer, aged 84 years, well-known Grantsville farmer, died suddenly at his home Saturday night. Mr. Ringer has been in ill health for a number of years.

He was the son of the late Michael Ringer and Margaret Shoemaker Ringer. He was born in Garrett County and spent most of his life here. He was a life-long member of the Lutheran Church.

Funeral services were preached Tuesday morning at the home by Rev. Shannon, pastor of the Lutheran Church at St. Paul. Surviving are his wife, Anna, and two children, Mrs. William Burkholder and Ray Ringler, both of Grantsville.
