You were the son of Julian & Eliza Young. "LeJeune" when translated (French to English) means 'the young' and you & your siblings changed your family name to Young after your father made the decision to do so.

Julien Young's father was Joseph Ozier LeJeune 1780-1825, Julien's mother was Euphrosina Carrierre 1782-1826. The last name of LeJeune was changed to Young after they got to Louisiana from France.

You married Henrietta Williams 11/23/1854 by Justice of the Peace (Dempsey Iles, who rode horseback for 10 miles to perform the ceremony; fee of $1.00).

You had six children, in following order:
