Corbett resident Dorothy Anna (Nathlich) Mosley, 86, died Saturday, Aug. 21, in Gresham.
A memorial service is scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, at the Gresham Seventh Day Adventist Church, 223 S.E. Cleveland Ave. Private interment will be held at Mountain View Corbett Cemetery.
Dorothy was born March 18, 1924, in Los Angeles to Curtis and Mary (Teschner) Nathlich. She was raised and educated in California, where she earned her Psychiatric Technician certificate. Dorothy married Ray Petersen in 1942 in California, and the couple moved to North Dakota. She returned to California in the early 1960s and was employed by the state of California in mental health facilities. She married Euel Mosley in 1968, but they were later divorced. Dorothy moved to the East Multnomah County area in 1987. She continued to work as a psychiatric technician before retiring from Cedar Hills Psychiatric Hospital in the 1990s.
Dorothy was an active member of the Gresham Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Christian Scribes. She enjoyed needlepoint, reading, baking and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her son, Lawrence Petersen, in 1970.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Kirk of Corbett; son, Raymond Petersen of Lyle, Wash.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
