Mrs. Bessie McGaugh

DREW, Miss. — Mrs. Bessie Shelton McGaugh, 74, of Drew, died Saturday at Greenwood Leflore Hospital in Greenwood, Miss., after a long illness.

Funeral services were to be at 3 p.m. today in Drew Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Lynch officiating.

Burial was to be in Drew Cemetery under the direction of Williams and Lord Funeral Home of Greenwood, Miss.

Mrs. McGaugh had been a member of Drew Baptist Church since 1923.

Survivors include her husband, A. M. McGaugh of Drew: three sons, Melton C. McGaugh of Little Rock, Ark., Sam E. MeGaugh of West Monroe; and James E. McGaugh of Greenville, Miss.; three daughters, Mrs. W. D. Butler of Meridian, Miss., Mrs. W. T. Lucius of Jackson, Miss., and Mrs. Harry C. Hall of Greenwood, Miss.; 21 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Grandsons were to serve as pallbearers.
