Mrs. Patricia A. Affer, 71, of Minden City, passed away Friday, May 6, 2011 at Port Huron Hospital

She was born Nov. 7, 1939 in Minden City, to the late John and Isabel (Danielski) Partaka. She married Ronald E. Affer Sr. on Jan. 4, 1958 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Parisville. He preceded her in death on March 10, 2000.

Patricia was a graduate of the Minden City Elementary School and a 1956 graduate of Ubly High School. She worked as a teller for Commerce Bank in Hamtramck. She was then employed as an assembler at Minden City Wire for many years. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, garage sales, walking with her dog, Coco and visiting with family and friends.

She is survived by five sons, Ronald Affer Jr. of Minden City, John Affer and his wife, Gwen, of Warren, Mark Affer of Warren, Michael Affer and his wife, Kim, of Bad Axe, Edward Affer and his wife, Megan, of Big Rapids; one daughter, Heidi Terrasi of Ruth; 15 grandchildren, Stephen, Patrick and Scott Gobie, Ashley, Stephanie and Samantha Warchuck, Nicole and Jordan Terrasi, Austin, Carson and Camryn Affer, Madison, Hayden and Sidney Affer, Heather Clark; seven great-grandchildren, Evan and Noah Gobie, Taylor Warchuck, Morgan Parson, Analeia Terrasi, Carter and Raelynn Volmering; three brothers, John Partaka Jr. of Sandusky, William Partaka and his wife, Velma, of Oxford, Joseph Partaka and his wife, Barb, of Minden City; three sisters, Joan Staroska and her husband, Tom, of Columbiaville, Sheree Hendrick of Saginaw, Mary Sanders and her husband, Mark, of Haslett.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Michelle Gobie in 1999; one granddaughter, Christina Warchuck in 1985; one brother, Edward Partaka in 1970.
