Mrs. Young Dies; Rites To Be Friday
PARIS — Mrs. Mary Young, 81, of Paris, died about 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Audrain Medical Center in Mexico. She was the widow of Frank Young.
Services will be conducted at 2 p. m. Friday at the Agnew Funeral Home. The Rev. David Fischer will officiate and burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p. m.
Mrs. Young was born in Illinois in June, 1891, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Leach. She moved to the Paris area as a young woman and spent the remainder of her life here.
She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Fontelle) Cully of San Antonio, Tex., and Mrs. Willard (Ruby) Adams of Holliday; six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Bess Newstrand of Swea City, Iowa, and Mrs. Doris Walton of Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Mrs. Mary Young, 81, a resident of Paris for many years, died at 8 pm. Wednesday at the Audrain County Medical Center at Mexico.
She was born in June, 1881 [sic], in Illinois, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Leach. The family moved to Missouri when she very young.
Mrs. Young was a member the United Methodist Church. Her husband, Frank Young, preceded her in death.
Survivors included two daughters, Mrs. Charles Cully, San Antonio, and Mrs. Willard Adams, Holliday; two sisters, Mrs. Bess Newstrand, Swea City, Iowa; and Mrs. Doris Walton, Ft. Dodge, Iowa; six grandchildren and a number great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are pending at the Agnew Funeral Home Paris.
