Esther M. (Hafer), widow of Daniel R. Hunter, aged 76 years and 13 days died at the residence of her son-in-law, Edwin M Lorah. She was a daughter of the late George and Esther (Moyer) Hafer and was born in Alsace township. She is survived by the following children: Katie, wife of Edwin Lorah, Oley; Annie, wife of Charles Burkey, Peicetown; Hannah, widow of Frank Houck, Kutztown; Hester, wife of James Folk, Alsace; Lizzie, wife of Aaron Clouser, Oley; Sarah, wife of Henry Conrath, Pricetown; John, New Berlinville; Daniel and George, Reading; Charles, Huffs Church, and Lewis, Earlville. The following brothers and sisters: George, Reading; Lewis, Oley; John, Reading; Sara Sheffy, Collingswood, N.J. and Mary, wife of Ammon Spohn, Yellow House. Two daughters (Rachel and Mary) preceded her in death. There are 45 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.
