Robert "Bob" Koath was born in 1933 as the son of Edward & Cecelia M. (Cummings) Koath, and was a 44 year resident of the Algonquin-Dundee area. A 38 year employee of Illinois Bell Telephone, he was also a U.S. Army Veteren and served in the Korean conflict. He was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of West Dundee where he served as a trustee and a choir member. Known for his quick wit and jokes he was beloved by friends and family alike, and was especially beloved by his many nieces and nephews who found him a ready ally and co-conspiritor in their games and pranks. Bob is survived by his wife Grace, whom he called his "Amazing" Grace, his daughters, Karen and Margaret, and his five Grandchildren, Timothy, Elizabeth, Monica, Alicia, & Erin
