Teddy Eugene Conrad, 74, of English, died Thursday, May 5th, 2011 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. Born June 14, 1936, in Perry County, he was the son of the late Samuel Conrad and Annie McKim. He was a mechanic at Mulzer's Quarry for 25 years and a member of Tunnel Hill Free Methodist Church in Taswell. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Jim, Sam Jr. and Curtis Conrad, Theodore Edward and Harold Joseph; a sister, Anna Marie Lively; and one great-grandchild. Survivors include his wife, the former Betty Archibald; three children, Bobby Conrad of English, Ronnie Conrad of Milltown and Connie Clutinger of St. Croix; a brother, Jennings (Doc) Conrad of Sulphur; four sisters, Evelyn Chappel of English, Viola Wright of Birdseye, Naomi Copper of Eckerty and Rosie Ridenour of Indianapolis; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral: Monday, May 9th, at 1:00 P.M. at Denbo Funeral Home in English with burial in Hamilton Roberson Cemetery.
