White and grey / black female Norway rat. I rescued her moma from someone who had bought her to feed to a snake but the snake wasn't eating here. So through a friend, I was given her. About two weeks later, she had nine babies that included Audrey. I then had 10 pet rats! As soon as I could tell, I quickly seperated the males and females. I named her Audrey after Audrey Hepburn.

Audrey was the one that I had the longest. She was very sick once in May of 2003. Rats are prone to respiratory type infections. My stepdad, John and my mom had to keep her and hand feed her her medicine. They laughed about that with me for years. From never owning a rat to have to spoon feed one. They did a good job though, Audrey lived another year. Audrey and my Betta fish Sam Wynter died on the same day.
