Reporter, Thurs. Dec. 4, 1975, p. 32:1. Ambrose A. Loehr, 70, of 497 Garfield St., who started the A.A. Loehr Co. in 1927, died at 1:40 a.m. today at St. Agnes Hospital. Born April 19, 1905, at Johnsburg, he was the son of the late Henry and Susan Hennen Loehr. He married Joyce Stanczek in Fond du Lac in 1933, and she died on Dec. 31, 1967. Mr. Loehr was a member of St. Mary's Church, Knights of Columbus and Fond du Lac Association of Commerce. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Raja Gopalan of Milwaukee; a son, William of Appleton; two grandchildren; and eight brothers, Arthur of Rt. 1, Alfred and Vincent both of Fond du Lac, Alex of Milwaukee, Charles of Encino, Calif., Walter of Laguna Hills, Calif., Joseph of Hernet, Calif., and Henry of Tarzana, Calif. Also surviving are four sisters, Miss Dorothy, Miss Lucinda and Miss Martha Loehr all of Laguna Hills, Calif., and Mrs. Veronica White of Hesperia, Calif. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church. The Rev. Ernest Dreher will officiate, and burial will take place in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Johnsburg. Friends of Mr. Loehr may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
