Claude Capper
DAVENPORT - Claude W. "Cap" Capper, 76, of rural Davenport, died Wednesday at his home.
Family services will be held Friday afternoon at Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Visitation is 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.
He retired in 1981 after 22 years in the maintenance department at Alcoa, Davenport Works.
Mr. Capper married Lois Tunis in 1955 in Davenport.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Keith, Blue Grass, Iowa, Michael, Kansas City, Mo., Terry, Davenport, and David, Moline; seven grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Dorothea Reddlinger, Wellman, Iowa; brothers, Charles, Wellman, Iowa, and John, Colona, Ill.; and a half-brother, George Brush, Fairfield, Iowa.
