Son of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Kubicek, Racine, Minn. Occupation, farming.
Residence, Racine.
Entered service Sept. 5, 1918, at Austin. Assigned to 16th Machine Gun Company. Under medical care Oct. 4, to 7th. Died of influenza and pneumonia at Camp Hancock, Ga., Oct. 7, 1918. The body was brought to his home at Racine from Georgia under military escort. From Racine it was taken overland to Somerset, Steele county, where funeral service and interment were held, Rev. Father Glendon of Newry, officiating. Besides his parents he left four brothers and four sisters.
