Georgia - Nancy Ann Christiansen passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, from injuries sustained in an auto accident. She was born on June 10, 1938, in Campaign, IL. She graduated from Campaign High School in 1956. She worked for the University of Illinois and retired after 20 years of service. Nancy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Geraldine Baker; her sister, Bonnie J. Baker and a granddaughter, Stephanie Crist. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Charles Christiansen; her brother, Edward Baker II of Frisco, TX; two daughters: Kimberly Wilson Patton of Hollywood, FL and Kelli Wilson Crist of Luverne, AL; one stepson, Daniel Christiansen; and two stepdaughters: Michele Lutz and Roxanne Christiansen all of Dayton, OH; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A private service to honor Nancy was held on Thursday, May 5, 2011, at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro, Georgia. In her honor, memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society , 515 Denmark St., Suite 500, Statesboro, GA 30458.
