Addl info from "The Descendents of Cornet Robert Stetson" publ 1956 by the Stetson Kindred of America. Vol 1, No 3, pgs 20-21 says:
"Ephraim Stetson, son of Peleg and Mercy (Ramsdell) Stetson, b. Mar 28, 1743; d. Oct 27, 1840, age 96 yrs. (Abington Rec) He married Ruth Ford of Abington (int) Nov 25, 1769(Abington Rec). She d. Apr 1, 1832 age 83. (Abington Rec)
Ephraim served from Abington as Sergeant in Capt. Edw. Cobb's Co in the Revolutionary War. He also had other service. (Mass Rec.)
Children of Ephraim and Ruth (from Abington Rec):
1) Mary b. 1771; m. Amos Ford
2) Barnabas, b. 1775
3) Lydia b. 1781; m. Daniel Barstow
4) Ephraim, b. 1784
5) Ruth, b 1787; m. Ward Bates of Hanover"
