DEATH OF DAVID WAITE
An Old Resident of Northwood Called by Death.
This morning at 4:30 o'clock the spirit life of DAVID WAITE, of Northwood, passed into the unknown world. MR. WAITE had been in failing health the past five years from a complication of diseases, but the end was very unexpected as he seemed some better this past few days.
DAVID WAITE was born in Tyrone March 8, 1848, and was aged 61 years, 9 months and 20 days at the time of his death. In 1870 he was united in marriage to MISS SARAH M ARFORD. The most of his life was spent in Tyrone where he was employed in the tannery and on the Tyrone Division of the P.R.R. as a member of the work train crew. He was recognized among his fellow employees as a faithful workman. In the home he was a kind and affectionate husband and father and will be greatly missed by those he has left behind. He was a member in good standing of Blazing Arrow Tribe No 406, Improved Order of Red Men, who will attend the funeral in a body. He leaves to mourn his death the following children: Charles, of Albion, Erie County; DAVID E., of Altoona; JESSE H., of Ely City, Nev., MRS. GEORGE KANOUR, MRS. CHARLEY FRY, MRS. WILLIAM MAYHNO, of Tyrone, and BLANCHE E. and JOSPEH F. at home.
The funeral services will be conducted at the WAITE home at Northwood on Monday morning at 10:30 o'clock by Rev. George T. GUNTER, of the Presbyterian Church. Interment in Waring Addition Cemetery.
