Female tango singer. She was one of the forerunners of the tango, and started to record on July 15, 1925. During the Thirties she reached the success, behaving like a diva. She had a range that went from mezzosoprano to soprano in the high notes, her singing was moving, of romantic fashion. In 1942, the eclosion comes, she definetively abandoned the artistic life, retiring with her mother to a town in the Córdoba hills, both turned into "Franciscan Tertiaries". Her beauty and her artistic qualities make her one of the milestones of the female voices of the tango.
