Utica - Ludwig G. Cronauer, 72, of 1214 Lenox Ave., a retired employee of the Marine Midland maintenance department, died yesterday in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Germany and came to Utica in 1928.
He married Katherine Erhardt in 1921 in Germany.
Prior to being employed by the Marine Midland, he was employed for 16 years by the Durr Packing Co. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church and the Arbeiter Sanger Choir.
Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Alois (Alma) Vogel and a son, Bertrand (Bert), both of Utica and a sister and brother in Germany.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Utica Observer Dispatch, Sunday, May 20, 1962
