Betsy Ann Burke was a daughter of Charles Peter Burke and Betsy Christena Jensen or Anderson Burke.

She married Richard Parker January 28, 1880 in the L.D.S. temple in Saint George, Washington County, Utah.

Betsy Parker the wife of Richard Parker of Hinckley, died at the family home
Monday following an illness of about ten days. Mrs. Parker was 75 years of age.
Mr. and Mrs. Parker moved to this region in 1900 from Dixie and their first home
here was in Abraham and they lived there for about fifteen years after which
they moved to Hinckley where they have resided since.

Mrs. Parker has led an active and busy life and was highly esteemed by her many
friends here. For many years she was a member of the presidency of the Hinckley
Relief Society and she was a valued worker in that organization. The sympathy
of the many friends of the family is extended to them in their bereavement.
Mrs. Parker is survived by her husband, Richard Parker and the following
children: Mrs. Annie Higgs, Los Angeles,; Mrs. Marie Keel, Salt Lake City; Mrs.
Ida Moffitt, Los Angeles; Mrs. Lavinia Fullmer, Grace Idaho; Mrs. Mabel
Stockman, Portland< Oregon; Mrs. Wealthy Hansan of Provo and Ianthus Parker,
Ruth, Nevada. There is also a brother Charles Burke of Pocatello, Idaho and a
sister Mrs. Carrie Wright of Hurricane, Utah. The children are all here.
Funeral services will be held at Hinckley Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. and
interment will be there.
