EGNEY ASHWORTH -- STARKS -- Funeral services for Egney Ashworth, 77, were at 3 pm today, Nov. 22, 1974, in Frist Baptist Church in Starks.
The Rev. G.W. Lorimore officiated. Burial was in Clark Cemetery under direction of Snider Funeral Home of DeQuincy.
Mr. Ashworth died at 1pm Thursday in his residence in Starks. A native and lifelong resident of Starks, he was a veteran of World War I.
Survivors are two sons, Roy Lee Ashworth of Starks and Egney Arnold Ashworth of Old Salem, Tex.; one daughter, Mrs. Vera Mae Bass of Starks; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
