He was born April 3, 1896, at Farmington, Arkansas, the son of Robert Eusebius "Bob" and Nellie Francis (Marrs) Gibson.
He and Ella Mae Wilson were married December 24, 1917.
He was a U. S. Army Veteran of WWI.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Alvin Wilson Gibson and Billy Bruce Gibson; and six brothers.
Funeral Services are at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 28, 1961 at the Center Street Church of Christ, conducted by Joe Banks and David Howell.
Burial is in the National Cemetery at Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Arrangements are by Moore's Chapel.
