Visiting Panama- landed on ship Isthmus it rained hard, and he had to sleep on the ground in his wet clothes and was unwell after that. Was going to return to New York and mailed a letter on the May 5h which arrived to his family-wife Sally, on the 22nd of May - the day he died. Buried in Panama with help of Othnial Jewetts son (?) and William Ward. Son of Clark Stowe of Weybridge VT.
