Major League Baseball Player. He played Major League baseball for six seasons (1941 to 1943, 1945 to 1947) as an outfielder for the Philadelphia Athletics, Cleveland Indians and Washington Senators. In four of his six seasons he saw only handful of games, never getting into more than 9 in any one year. However, in 1945 and 1946, he was a starter for the Indians, due in part to the loss of regular players to military service during World War II. He played 120 Games in 1945 and 78 in 1946. He finished his career with totals of 223 Games Played, 174 Hits, 2 Home Runs, 55 RBIs and a career .259 Batting Average.
