Major League Baseball Player. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, he was a right fielder making his debut with the St. Louis Terriers on April 16, 1914. For thirteen seasons, he played with the St. Louis Terriers (1914-15), St. Louis Browns (1916-25), Washington Nationals in 1926 and Boston Red Sox in 1927. He ended his career with a record of 1906 hits, 936 runs scored, 64 homeruns, 581 runs batted in and a .309 batting average. He died at age 77 in St. Louis, Missouri.
