Born in Murray, Utah on July 12, 1958 to Albino A. Ortega and Guadalupe Trujillo Ortega; left us on May 3, 2011 at the young age of fifty-two.
Philip retired from Midvale City after several years of service. Phil enjoyed camping, hunting and four wheeling. He taught his children, family, and friends what it meant to live life to the fullest.
Phil enjoyed taking his family to the great outdoors and using his many catch phrases; the one most remembered would be "hey lady, over here". Enough can't be said about the love he had for his children, grand-children and great granddaughter. Philip J. Ortega will be truly missed by all who knew him.
