Sue A. Gohn, of York, was called to her Heavenly home May 6, 2011.

Born January 17, 1944, in York, a daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (Shue) Spangler.

She was a 1961 graduate of William Penn Senior High School and worked for Bon-Ton Department Stores, Inc., for 35 years.

Sue was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and its consistory, Team UCC; and a member of the York High Alumni Band.

Ms. Gohn is survived by a daughter, Lisa A. Toomey and husband David, of York; a son, Steven H. Gohn of York; three granddaughters, Allison Toomey, Victoria Gohn, and Rebecca Gohn, all of York; three brothers, Ralph Spangler of King of Prussia, Charles Spangler and Allen Spangler, both of York; and a sister, Lucy Ellen Abel of York.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Spangler, Harry Spangler, and Ronald Spangler; and a sister, Dorothy Miller.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. May 10, 2011 at Trinity United Church of Christ, York, with her Pastor, The Rev. Ruth D. Harvey, officiating. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
