Ray S. Bitner, Jr., 54, of Vidor died Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at his residence in Vidor. A native of Trinity, TX, he had lived in Vidor since 1958. Ray was a Pest Control Technician for Bill Clark Pest Control in Beaumont. He was a member of the Pioneer Presbyterian Church in Beaumont where he was an Elder, and also on the Vestry. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday March 18, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Ray is survived by his wife, Jeanette Bitner, of Vidor, parents, Ray and Pearl Bitner of Vidor. Stepsons, Jon Kresser and wife Monica, James Journeay all of Mauriceville; stepdaughter, Cristy Kresser of Corpus Christi, TX, sisters Debbie Dunlap of Mauriceville, Paula Phillips and Deedra Smith both of Vidor; 5 Step-grandchildren.
