Jennings Reginald Bailes, 92, of Summersville passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011 at the Ansted Center.
He was born November 27, 1918 in Nettie and was a son of the late Stephen and Sarah Emeline Shawver Bailes. He was also preceded in death by four sisters and five brothers
Jennings was a member of Grace Baptist Church, the UMWA and was a retired coal miner.
Survivors include his wife, Goldie Dawson Hickman Bailes; stepson, Robert Hickman of Mt. Lookout; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 8, 2011 at Grace Baptist Church, Persinger with Pastor John Kidwell officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Nettie under the direction of the White Funeral Home in Summersville.
Friends may call Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
