Flora W. Adkins, 87, of Dunkirk, died Friday, May 4, 2007 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.
Born Nov. 30, 1919 in Urbana, Ohio to Donald and Agnus (Smith) Geiger, she was a homemaker and a dairy farmer's wife. She was a member of the Church of Living God in Dunkirk.
Survivors include a daughter, Mona (Bill) Shoemaker Brown of Bluffton, a son, Gerald Adkins of Texas, three brothers and three sisters; 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Adkins, a brother and a sister. Services were held today at MJS Mortuaries, Dunkirk Chapel, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Holten officiating. Burial was to be in Dunkirk IOOF Cemetery.
