Mary E. Reddish Dies In California
Mrs. Mary E. Reddish, 89, who had lived in the Alliance vicinity for 35 years, died this morning in California.
Survivors include two sons, Attorney Robert O. Reddish and Howard E. Reddish of Alliance, and one daughter Mrs. Edith Anderson of Sierra Madre, Calif.
Mrs. Reddish was born January 1, 1862 at Nemaha, Neb. the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Owen K. Fisher. She was married at Nemaha on April 26, 1886 to Frank E. Reddish who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Reddish came to Alliance in March 1887 and lived on a ranch and in town until 1922. Her last address was Sierra Madre, Calif.
Mrs. Reddish was a member of the Episcopal Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been completed. Burial will be in the Alliance Cemetery with Walker Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
