A funeral for Ruth Naomi DeLashmutt of Southeast Portland will be at noon Thursday in Stehn's Foster Road Funeral Home. Interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Park.
Mrs. DeLashmutt died of causes related to age Sunday in a Portland care center. She was 89.
She was born April 24, 1902, in Hamburg, Iowa. She married Van Elmer DeLashmutt on May 16, 1918, in Monona County, Iowa. Mrs. DeLashmutt was a homemaker. She had lived in Portland since 1942. Her husband died in 1967.
Survivors include her sons, Van R. of Blencoe, Iowa, Don O. of Portland and Max K. of Seattle; daughter, Mrs. Murrl C. Jones of Bellflower, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Her son, Darol A. DeLashmutt, died in 1931.
