Jesse Oliven Ball, 89, of Paris, died Sunday in the Audrain Medical Center at Mexico.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Agnew Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Fischer officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.

He was born in Monroe County Feb. 1, 1883, son of Robert and Mildred Gwynn Ball. He was a member of the Oak Ridge Christian Church. He married Dec. 29, 1914, at Paris to Bertha Darnell, who died in November, 1961.

Surviving are two sons, James E., Missoula, Mont.; Lyndell, St. Louis; two daughters, Mrs. J. R. (Dorothy) White, Paris; and Mrs. Russell (Eunice) Power, Stevensville, Mont.; brother, George, Spokane, Wash.; sister, Mrs. Eliza Davis, Madison; nine grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
