Veteran Printer Diesat New Castles
Louis F. Anger, 86, a veteran who once owned newspapers at Versailles and Osgood, died Thursday in Henry County Memorial Hospital at New Castle. He had been ill for some time.
He had been an ad compositor for the New Castle Courier-Times for about 20 years, retiring last February. He had also operated newspapers at Crawfordsville, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and in Texas, and had worked in the printing trade at Dayton, Ohio, Indianapolis and Marion before locating at New Castle.
Born in Madison, he was the son of Martin and Teresa Anger.
He was a 50-year member of the Crawfordsville Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are his daughter, Miss Martha Anger of New Castle, and two nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Saturday in Main and Frame Funeral Home, New Castle, where friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery at Madison.
