Louise was the second child of Rev. Franklyn Ackerman Perkins and Cora Elmira Parish Perkins. Rev. Perkins ministered in MI, NY, NJ and PA with the Free Methodist Church around the Delaware Water Gap in 1885. Her sister, Louise died in Hackettstown, NJ the year she (Louise) was born.
Louise died as the result of injuries from being struck in the head by a snowball which had been thrown at her by another child. She was buried in Coopersville, Ottawa County, Michigan; the death certificate does not specify which cemetery.
