Winchester, Ky - Mrs. Lizzie Fisher Johnson, of 49 Smith Avenue, widow of A.C. Johnson, died at 11:30 am Monday at the Estill County Hospital, Irvine, after a long illness. She was a native of Clark County and a member of the Denaway Methodist Church.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. William Watson, Irvine, and Mrs. A.W. Clark, Owingsville; two sons, O.P. and Allen Johnson, Winchester; two half sisters, Mrs. Nancy Henderson and Mrs. Lucy Wood, Winchester; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 2 pm Wednesday at the Scobee Funeral Home here by the Rev. Clarence Fishman and the Rev. Claude Shimfessel. Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery. Bearers will be John Gaines, Leonard V. Johnson, Roger Williams, Robert Allen Johnson, Mitchell Witt and R.B. lawson. Honorary bearers will be Dr. Charles Terry, leland Parrish, Henry Riggs, Gifford Ragland, Tome Crowe, John H Aldridge, Earl Hinds and Leon Pace, The body is at the funeral home where friends may call after 11 am today.
