RANGER -- Mary Ruth Huestis, 102, of Ranger, died Tuesday, January 27, 2004 at Ranger Care Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 30, 2004 in Kimbrough Funeral Home Chapel in Cisco officiated by Reverend Gary Turner. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery directed by Kimbrough Funeral Home. Mrs. Huestis was born on July 27, 1901 in Dothan, Texas to Walter Isaac and Margaret Jane (Nunnley) Agnew. Her husband, Paul Lufurgy Huestis, whom she married on December 20, 1919 in Cisco, preceded her in death on May 16, 1981. She was a homemaker and loved flowers and her neighbors. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Cisco. She is survived by her daughters, Rosemary Fambro and her husband Ed (Skeet) Price of Strawn, Thelma Oleta Garvic of Olathe, Kansas; grandchildren, Paul Edd Fambro of Cedar Park, TX, Jeanette Meo and husband Rocky of Jefferson City, MO and Jim Garvic and wife Petra of Olathe, KS; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
