EDWARD L. LAMBERT; GREENVILLE - Edward L. Lambert, 77, died June 24, 1988, at his Greenville residence. He was born at Bangor, March 13, 1911, son of Edward and Emma (Gillespie) Lambert. He was a resident of Dexter for many years and while there was employed at several area Dexter woolen mills, as well as Fay-Scott. He was as retired ranger for the Maine State Firestry Service and had been employed as a constable for the town of Greenville for many years. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Gordon) Lambert of Greenville; one son, Edward R. Lambert of Oxford; two daughters, Joy Rocray of Hartford Conn. and Mary Spaulding of Bowie, Md.; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. Friends may call at Harvey Funeral Home, Greenville, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, with the Rev. Robert Simon officiating. Burial will be in the family lot, Burlington Cemetery. Friends who wish may make donations in Mr. Lambert's memory to the American Cancer Society, Maine Division Inc., P.O. Box 456, Brunswick.
