EDWARD L. LAMBERT; GREENVILLE - Edward L. Lambert, 77, died June 24, 1988, at his Greenville residence. He was born at Bangor, March 13, 1911, son of Edward and Emma (Gillespie) Lambert. He was a resident of Dexter for many years and while there was employed at several area Dexter woolen mills, as well as Fay-Scott. He was as retired ranger for the Maine State Firestry Service and had been employed as a constable for the town of Greenville for many years. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Gordon) Lambert of Greenville; one son, Edward R. Lambert of Oxford; two daughters, Joy Rocray of Hartford Conn. and Mary Spaulding of Bowie, Md.; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. Friends may call at Harvey Funeral Home, Greenville, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, with the Rev. Robert Simon officiating.
