Son of Thomas Lee Laughlin and Rosetta Mae Capps; married 1) Leah Lauderdale and 2) Gretchen (Schell) Hendrickson, who had been married previously to Oscar Hendrickon.
OBITUARY: George Aaron Laughlin, 79, of Pea Ridge died February 5, 1987 at his home. He was born September 4, 1907 at Powell, Missoui. He was a retired farmer and a Baptist.
Survivors include his widow, Gretchen, of Pea Ridge; four daughters, Barbara Baldwin and Margaret Kaetzel, both of Independence, Missouri, Evelyn Mansfield of Overland Park, Kansas, and Carolyn Schad, of Purdy, Missouri; one sister, Ava Kerr, of Yucca Valley, California; one brother, Russell Laughlin, of Ontario, Oregon; seven grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and two step-great-grandchildren. Arrangements were handled by Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge, with burial in Roller Cemetery.
[Note: Aaron was the grandson of Harvey Laughlin, minister and judge. Aaron's funeral was held in the Laughlin Chapel at Roller. His ancestors were instrumental in the building of the Methodist Church.]
