Sussex--Lewis Benjamin, one of the oldest residents of Wantage Township, died Saturday at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hait, of Wolf Pit, with whom he made his home. His wife died several years ago. He was 91, and had been failing for some time.
Besides his daughter, Mr. Benjamin is survived by three sisters and a brother: Mrs. Frances Rogers, of Sussex; Mrs. Sarah Elston, of Middletown; Mrs. Frank Lounsberry, of Newburgh, and David Benjamin, of Slate Hill; also by five grandchildren and one great-grandson.
The funeral was held this afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hait, with Rev. E.G. VanTilburg officiating. Burial was in Unionville cemetery.
