Mrs. Carroll Passes Away At Germanton

Mrs. Mertie Ann Hall Carroll, 55, died Friday night at her home, Germanton, Route 1.
The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at Haw Pond Christian Church. Rev. Ronald D. Hicks will conduct the services. Burial will be in the church graveyard.
Pallbearers will be Cleavis Eaton, Zeb Hall, Jr., Marvin Hall, Ted Hall, Sergeant David Hall and Maxie Hall. Flowerbearers will be Mary Ruth Carroll, Maude Hall, Arbelia Corroll, Sylvia Knight, Mary Ann Carroll, Mildred Cromer, Bertie Hall, Marie Lee Carroll, Irene Hall, Peggy Sue Wolfe, Bessie Eaton and Peggy Hall.
Surviving are two sons, Raymond Carroll of the home and Pfc. Algra Carroll of Chanute Field, Ill.; one sister, Parry Eaton of Sandy Ridge; four brothers, James F. Hall of Great Falls, S. C.; John D. Hall of Walnut Cove; Zeb Hall of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; and Bryan Hall of Germanton; two half sisters, Mrs. Edd Staton and Mrs. Wilson Luther of High Point and five half brothers, Ralph Hall of Moorseville, Leonard and Horner Hall of Baltimore, Md.; Fount Hall of High Point and Russell of Lexington.
