Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 23, 2002 at 2 P.M. for Mrs. Helen Laughlin, 78, at Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice with Father Matthew Roussel officiating. Burial followed at Savoy Cemetery in Eunice.

Mrs. Laughlin, a resident of Eunice, died Sunday, April 21 at 5:50 P.M. at the Community Rehabilitation Hospital in Lafayette after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Laughlin was a housewife. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Laughlin, one son Phillip Laughlin, and one grandson, Steven Davis. Survivors include three sons, John Laughlin of Eunice, Francis Laughlin of Orlando, Fl, and Michael Laughlin of Eunice; three daughters, Marie Davis of Baytown, Texas, Kathy Richard of Eunice, and Sheila Trumps of Eunice, one brother Robert Fontenot of Breaux Bridge, 10 grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Ardoin's Funeral Home of Eunice was in charge of all arrangements.
