George Rellinger, 74, who lived with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr and Mrs Elmer Risser, six miles northeast of Wakarusa, died Sunday afternoon, a few hours after he had suffered a stroke of paralysis.

Mr Rellinger was born in Ontario, Canada, on March 22, 1863, the son of Mathias and Mary Rickert Rellinger. He came to Wakarusa when he was 19. He was a member of the Mennonite Brethren in Christ church, and attended the Bethel church.

He leaves his wife, Esther Climanhaga, who he married Jan 7, 1884; one daughter, Mrs Risser; a son, Clyde of Coleman, Mich; 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a brother, John Rellinger of Clayton, Ohio.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon 1:30 o'clock in the Olive Mennonite church. The Rev D Paul Huffman of Elkhart, pastor of the Bethel church, and the Rev A B Yoder of Goshen officiated. Burial in the Olive cemetery.
