David Paul Taylor died May 3, 2011 in Orem, UT. Born August 7, 1933 in American Fork, Utah to David S. and Dettafay Miller Taylor. He married Velyle Bunker June 3, 1954 in the Salt Lake Temple.

He is survived by his wife, American Fork; son David Bryan (Susan), Pleasant Grove; four daughters, Pamela, Orem; Natalie (Dave) Hess, Draper; Rebecca (Todd) Hermansen, Ephraim; Paulette (Matt) Benson, Saratoga Springs; ten Grandchildren; six Great Grandchildren; one brother James Errol, American Fork; and a niece Artalee Larsen, American Fork. Preceded in death by a daughter Annette and a sister Shirley Durrant.

Paul worked at Geneva Steel for 30 years and served as a volunteer fireman in American Fork for 50 plus years. He had a great love for the outdoors which he shared with his family. He also loved guns, taking pictures, catsup, and muscle rub. We will miss him dearly.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Orem Rehab and Nursing and Sunbrook Hospice for their loving care.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 9, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 East 100 North, American Fork.

Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services.

Burial in American Fork Cemetery.
