May 7, 1937 - Carroll Daily - Funeral services for Paul S. Miner of Cedar Falls, who passed away suddenly Thursday morning, will be held at the Huffman Funeral Home at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Burial will be in the Carroll cemetery. A short service was conducted at the family home in Cedar Falls this afternoon before the funeral cortege started for Carroll. Friends may view the body at the Huffman Funeral home this evening.

John L. Miner, jr., and George Pfiester, who left for Cedar Falls immediately upon receiving word of Mr. Miner's illness, are accompanying Mrs. Miner and sons to Carroll. Mrs. V.F. Farmer of Story City, a sister of Mrs. Miner, is also accompanying them. Dr. and Mrs. W.E. Nye of Onawa, the latter a sister of Mrs. Miner, will arrive here this evening.

May 8, 1937 - Carroll Daily - Funeral services for Paul S. Miner of Cedar Falls were held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon at the Huffman Funeral home. The Rev. William R. Yingling, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, officiated. Frederick Feldman, a senior at Iowa State Teachers college, who is a close friend of George Willard and Paul Lincoln Miner, sons of the deceased, played a piano prelude and postlude at the services. Stanley Reeves of Cedar Falls, another college student, also accompanied Mrs. Miner and sons here. Burial was in the Carroll cemetery and pallbearers were Frank W. Seyller, Ernest L. Hall, E.J. Broderick, Walter O'Connor, Frank Wille, and Henry J. Conway.

May 10, 1937 - Carroll Daily - Mrs. Paul S. Miner and sons, George Willard and Paul Lincoln Miner, who accompanied the body of Mr. Miner here for burial, returned to their home, at Cedar Falls Sunday evening. Frederick Feldman and Stanley Reeves of Cedar Falls, close friends of the Miner boys who were here for the rites, returned with them. Mrs. Miner and sons and their friends were guests in the George and Henry Pfiester home and the H.T. Miner home while here.

Other out-of-town relatives who attended the services for Mr. Miner Saturday afternoon were Dr. and Mrs. W.E. Nye of Onawa; Mr. and Mrs. V.F. Farmer of Story City; Mrs. Lizzie Pfiester and Dale Pfiester of Harlan; Mr. and Mrs. John Rentfle and Mrs. Matt Reid of Audubon; and Mrs. Carl Gaf of Jefferson.
